Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s right-hand man, arrested

Ghislaine Maxwell, confidant of controversial multi-millionaire Jeffrey Epstein, has been arrested. FBI agents arrested her this morning in Bradford, New Hampshire. The FBI had been watching her for some time.

The arrest went smoothly. She has to go to trial in New Hampshire later today. Prosecutors are asking the judge not to release her on bail because she is “extremely dangerous to escape”.

Six charges have been brought against her. She is suspected of perjury and of seducing a minor into sexual acts.

Maxwell (58) is the daughter of British media magnate Robert Maxwell. She worked closely with Epstein for many years. She has been accused on various sides of her large-scale regulation of girls and young women who were sexually abused by Epstein. According to the charges, this happened in New York, Palm Beach, Santa Fe and London. She is also said to have abused some girls herself.

Clinton and Prince Andrew

As a financial specialist, Epstein had an extensive network in the highest circles. Among his contacts were former President Bill Clinton and the British Prince Andrew. At a news conference, the FBI said Andrew is welcome to make a statement.

In 2008, the multi-millionaire was previously in prison for sex crimes. He was arrested again in July 2019. A month later, he committed suicide in his cell.

After Epstein’s death, Maxwell disappeared from publicity. She was still spotted in a burger restaurant in Los Angeles. She always contradicted accusations against her.
