Google’s new night sight feature will further improve low light photography on the Pixel

Night Sight launched last year on the Pixel 3 series, effectively letting the camera see in the dark. The feature also made its way to older Pixels, and while it is a landmark addition to Google’s camera, it wasn’t the simplest to access because it was tucked away within the More tab within the interface.

That is all set to change with an upcoming update to Google Camera, as noticed by 9to5Google. Version 6.3 brings a bunch of tweaks, including moving Night Sight to the main camera UI after the Portrait mode. That place is currently taken up by Panorama, which is being moved to the Extra tab.

The minor change makes accessing Night Sight way more convenient, as all it takes now’s a few swipes on the camera interface. Google can even proceed to point out the Night Sight suggestion tablet in the primary camera mode in low-mild situations.

One other main addition is McFly mode, an apparent reference to Back to the Future. As 9to5Gogole notes, the title coupled with mentions of rewind suggests Google is developing with a function to allow you to play videos in reverse. We’ll have to attend and see till the function goes reside to see what it has to supply.
